In Drake’s copywriting and content design course in the spring of 2017, we began working with the Drake University Adult Literacy Center (DUALC). The DUALC is an organization that helps people who don’t know or have a limited knowledge on how to read or write in English. They were under new leadership and beginning an expansion. With this expansion, they needed increased exposure. The class was split into four groups of four, with two copywriters and two designers on each team. From there, we built a campaign that included a new logo, a radio spot, a tv ad storyboard, a bus stop ad, and a flyer. The pieces that I designed, including the logo, are shown here.
